Information we may collect from you
We receive, collect, and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login; e-mail address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, and communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.
How we collect the information
When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process of completing your booking form, we collect personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

How we store, use, share and disclose our site visitors' personal information
Mindful Beti is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Subject to the preceding paragraph, both Mindful Beti and the Applicant shall hold the confidential information (obtained in any way via engagement with Mindful Beti) in confidence and not make confidential information available to any third party or use the confidential information for any purpose other than engagement with the Event.

A party may disclose confidential information to the extent such confidential information is required to be disclosed by law, by any governmental or other regulatory authority or by a court or other authority of competent jurisdiction, provided that, to the extent, it is legally permitted to do so, it gives the other party as much notice of such disclosure as possible and, where notice of disclosure is not prohibited and is given in accordance with these paragraphs, it takes into account the reasonable requests of the other party in relation to the content of such disclosure.

The Applicant acknowledges that their information may be used by Mindful Beti on a strictly anonymous basis without limitation including compiling and publishing reports and publishing feedback.

To protect confidentiality, copyright and comply with GDPR, the Applicant agrees not to record, screenshot or capture data in any form (written, images, fellow trainees’ comments, images etc) without prior consent from Mindful Beti.
Data Protection

Mindful Beti is committed to ensuring that personal data is handled appropriately and in compliance with data protection laws, including the Data Protection Act of 2018 and the EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

The Applicant may be asked to provide some personal information in order to enable the provision of certain services. By supplying this information you are consenting Mindful Beti holding and using it for the purposes for which it was provided. Information provided will be kept for as long as is necessary to fulfil that purpose.

Purposes for which information is held can include, but not limited to:

General administration requiring personal data and course details.

Assessment of applications for suitability for Events.

Applicant services, internal training and research, including monitoring quality and performance of the teacher(s) for their own supervision with a British Association of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (BAMBA) approved supervisor.

Employees, contractors and agents of Mindful Beti may be given access to any personal information which is collected, but its use shall be limited to the performance of their duties. Mindful Beti employees, contractors and agents who have access to Applicants' personal information are required to keep that information confidential.

The accuracy of personal information provided by Applicants may also be checked by Mindful Beti against relevant external sources. Mindful Beti undertakes to maintain data in secure conditions and to process and disclose data only within the terms of its data protection notification.

The details above indicate the nature of this notification but are not exhaustive. Mindful Beti is reliant on Applicants for much of the data held: please help Mindful Beti keep records up to date by notifying them of any alterations to personal details.
